There was a time when humans existed in villages, attuned with the wisdom of nature.

 

There was a time when ecosystems were rooted in reciprocity, centered around cycles and seasons.

 

There was a time when birth & death were community events, and presence and support was collective care.

 

 

As a response to the healthcare systems we navigate, Village Guardians exists with the purpose of organizing our community practitioners and resources. We connect and collaborate to develop solutions, tending to the multifaceted wellness of families.

At the center, Village Guardians invites independent birth and death workers to co-create, support, and imagine wellness within and alongside each other. This diverse network of professionals and their classes, trainings, and events is then accessible to families as a state-wide directory and community calendar.

 

Together, we generate preventative health education and systems of harm reduction by centering the needs of practitioners & families throughout the lifespan.
